### Trick Question

Trick Question - 20 October

Can you circle exactly four of these numbers such that the total is twelve?

1 6 1
6 1 6
1 6 1
6 1 6

1. If we turn the paper upside down, you will notice that the 6 becomes a 9. All the numbers become-
919
191
919
191
Now make 12 by circling the numbers 1, 9, 1, 1.

2. I also think that by turning paper we get
919
191
919
191
Now make 12 by circling the numbers 1, 9, 1, 1...

but sorry to say that if it is the answer......then it is not a good question....

3. nice ans
common man nice question

4. my solution was to see diagram diagonally and we get 6^1, 6^1

since 6^1=6, we get the sum 12.

5. Circle the four in the question, circle two 1's and a 6.

6. circle the 616 and so on all four of the 3 digit numbers totaling 12 numbers not the total by adding...the total unit of numbers...

7. either turn it upside-down ind circle a 9 and three 1s or circle the "four" in the question, a 6, and two 1s

8. Circle all four number (161, 616, 161, 616) the total numbers circled (not the product or sum of them), is 12. Hence the trick question.

9. 616 and four
