Create a number using only the digits 4,4,3,3,2,2,1 and 1. So i can only be eight digits. You have to make sure the ones are separated by one digit, the twos are separated by two digits the threes are separated with three digits and the fours are separated by four digits

4. THE AMOUNT OF DIGITS BETWEEN NUMBERS DEPENDS ON THEIR NUMERICAL VALUE. You need ONE space between the 1s, TWO spaces between the 2s, etc. STICK TO THE LIMIT, YOU CANNOT USE MORE THAN THE GIVEN AMOUNT OF SPACES.
Therefore the answer would be 41312432.

8. The ones have to be separated by only one digit; a reason why 12341234 wouldn't work.

9. but anonymous, your answer is even wrong as the 1's,2's,3's and 4's are not separated by 1,2,3,4 digits respectively.

I would like to share with you a new app that i found:
4444 math riddle

This app is based upon a classical problem that is most commonly formulated as follows:

"Given no more than four instances of the digit 4,
represent all integers using a finite number of
mathematical symbols and operators in common use."

In this app, you get 216 riddles (numbers) which can be expressed by four 4's and basic operation:
Acceptable symbols and operators

- subtraction
* multiplication
/ division
sqrt4 square root of 4
^4 power of 4
! factorial, eg: n! = n * (n-1) * (n-2) * ... * 2 * 1
. decimal point (.4 or .44)

Create simple math arguments and try to find all the numbers.
Example:
The number 1 can be expressed by 4/4 (the total number of four is always up to 4)

This app is suitable for high school / university students and for people who love mathematics and numbers riddles.

21. 23421314 is one answer. I wrote down each allowed combination and checked till I got above answer. Is there a more deterministic way (like solving equations) to do this ?
