Only one of the three is guilty, and only one of each man statements is false. Who killed Billy the Knife ?

Jimmy

It is not Alex because if it was, Alex 1 and Jimmy 3 would both be false, which would make Alex 2 and Jimmy 2 both true which is a contradiction.
It is not Dexter because if it was, Dexter 1 and Dexter 3 would both be false, which is not possible.

Each of these statements (which are true) refers to seven out of the eight living members of a family. You will find that the statement either refers to them by their personal name or through their relationship with another member. The statements are:
a) Jacob"s wife"s sister"s husband"s mother"s son is Patrick"s cousin"s father.
b) Sia"s grand-daughter"s cousin"s father"s sister-in-law is Gerry"s son-in-law"s wife.

Now if Annabelle has no children, what relationship does she share with Michael?

PS: There can be two solutions to this problem.

Solution 1:
Annabelle is Michael"s daughter. This is because Michael is Sia"s son. Also he is married to one of the Gerry"s daughters. Gerry"s other daughter is married to Jacob and Patrick is their son.

Solution 2:
Michael and Jacob are brothers. Sia is their mother. In this case, "Jacob"s wife"s sister"s husband"s mother"s son" refers to Jacob himself. Thus, Patrick is Michale"s son and Annabelle is Jacob"s daughter which means that Annabelle is Michael"s niece.

First person says: At least one of the statements is false.
Second person says: At least two of the statements is false.
Third person says: At least three of the statements are false.
Fourth person says: At least four of the statements are false.
..
..
..
Hundredth person says: At least a hundred of the statements are false.

Analyzing it, how many statements do you think are false and how many are right?

Hard Adobe Interview Puzzle Question

The hundredth statement is surely false as it says that at least a hundred of the statements are false.

But in a situation if that is correct, then hundred statements cannot be right.
This implies that the hundredth statement is wrong and that the first statement is true.

Similarly ninety nine statements can’t be true as if they were correct, then two statements would become correct i.e. the first and the ninety ninth.

But the ninety ninth statement says that at least ninety nine are wrong.
This implies that the ninety ninth statement is false and that second is correct.

If we go on calculating in the similar fashion, we will come to the conclusion that:
The first fifty statements are right and the remaining fifty statements are false.
